This privacy policy explains how Tmi Runko Advisory processes your personal data when you use our website www.runkoadvisory.com, contact us, subscribe to our newsletter, or place an order.

We collect personal data in the following situations:
Contact form: name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
Newsletter: email address and name, as well as information about your subscription and newsletter engagement.
Orders and payments: name, contact details, order contents, and billing and payment transaction information. Payments are processed by our payment service provider Visma Pay/Paytrail. We do not store payment card details in our own systems.
Technical data: website visitor analytics are provided by the Framer platform's built-in analytics, which does not use cookies or persistent identifiers. The analytics data is anonymized and cannot be linked to an individual visitor (see our Cookie Policy).
We process personal data for the following purposes:
Responding to enquiries – based on our legitimate interest in responding to messages sent to us.
Sending our newsletter – based on your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every newsletter.
Processing, delivering, and invoicing orders – based on the performance of a contract and our legal obligations (including the Finnish Accounting Act).
Website development and visitor analytics – we use Framer's cookieless, anonymized analytics, which does not require consent. To the extent any personal data is processed as part of analytics (e.g. the IP address momentarily before anonymization), the legal basis is our legitimate interest in developing our website.
4. Recipients of Personal Data
We use the following service providers, which process data on our behalf or for their own purposes:
Framer B.V. (website publishing platform, hosting, and cookieless visitor analytics)
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may disclose data to authorities where required by law.
5. Transfers Outside the EU/EEA
We primarily process personal data within the EU/EEA. If any of our service providers (e.g. [newsletter service]) processes data outside the EU/EEA, such transfers are based on transfer mechanisms approved by the European Commission, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Data Retention Periods
Enquiries: we retain messages for as long as needed to handle the matter, up to a maximum of 2 years.
Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, after which your data is deleted within a reasonable time.
Order and invoicing data: for the period required by the Finnish Accounting Act, generally 6–10 years from the end of the financial year.
Visitor analytics: Framer's analytics data is anonymized and does not constitute a register of personal data.
7. Your Rights
Under data protection law, you have the right to:
access the personal data we hold about you
request rectification or erasure of your data
request restriction of processing or object to processing
receive your data in a portable format (data portability)
withdraw your consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal)
